This glare reducer assembly is used in the lighting industry. It is an easily mountable unit that limits glare from lighting units. Using 18 gauge 1100 aluminum, #8-32 aluminum threaded rod and #8-32 nuts with nylon inserts, these part were sheared, circled, spun, machined and assembled to tolerances of +/-.010”.
These glare reducers are made from three rings of approximately 6”, 4” and 2” diameter. Each ring is 1.00” in height. After the rings are fabricated, they are assembled with four tabs using threaded rod and nuts. Parts are visually and dimensionally inspected during the process to insure a consistent finish and the rings are to spec. We will typically provide 100-200 of these items per run. Lead times are within 4 weeks.
